The data controller

The data falls under the publisher of this site, an individual acting in a non-professional capacity whose identity is known to the host named in the legal notice (article 6-III-2 of the law on confidence in the digital economy).

Data collected

This site is made up of static pages. It has no form, no account creation and no advertising tracker. Its traffic is counted only in aggregate form, without cookies (see "Visit statistics" below). Visiting the site gives the publisher no data that could identify a visitor.

Visit statistics

To know how many pages are read, which ones, and from which sites visitors arrive, the publisher uses its own audience counter, hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Workers service and D1 database). When a page is displayed, a short script sends the site itself, which passes them on to this counter, only two pieces of information: the address of the page viewed (without its parameters) and the name of the site the visitor came from, if any. It sends nothing when the page is reloaded or reopened with the "back" button.

The counter sets no cookie, does not use browser storage and issues no identifier: it cannot recognize a visitor from one page or one visit to the next. It records neither the IP address nor the characteristics of the browser: only aggregated counters, namely a number of views per site, per day, per page and per referring site. The visits of known bots are counted separately, under the name of their family only, and never mixed with visits. These counters are kept for 25 months at most, then erased.

The script also keeps count of clicks to the shop that this site recommends. When a visitor clicks such a link, it sends the site, which passes them on to the same counter, the address of the page the click comes from, the form of the link (text, panel or button) and the name of the site the visitor arrived from on that page, if any, and nothing more. The counter keeps only a number of clicks per day, per page and per form, plus a total of clicks per day and per origin (search engine, assistant, social network, direct access), without cookies and without identifiers, for 25 months at most.

These statistics are used exclusively to measure the audience of this site, solely on behalf of the publisher. They are not cross-referenced with other processing, not used for advertising purposes and not transferred. They do not make it possible to follow a visitor on other sites. Framed in this way, audience measurement is not subject to consent (article 82 of the Informatique et Libertés law and the CNIL recommendations on audience measurement); it rests on the publisher's legitimate interest in knowing the traffic of its site.

Visitors may object at any time, with reading remaining the same, for example by disabling JavaScript, or by blocking with a content blocker the address /lu4109zaa/wof72nti of this site, where the script sends its signal.

Technical data at the host

Connection logs may be kept by the host, Cloudflare, Inc., (IP address, timestamp, page requested, user agent) in order to ensure the security and operation of the service. This processing depends on the host and its privacy policy, beyond the publisher's reach.

Article 6-II of the law on confidence in the digital economy requires certain connection data to be kept for a limited period, so that offenses can be investigated.

Trackers

No cookie is set by this site, including for audience measurement. If an advertising or other tracker were ever added, this paragraph would be updated and a consent mechanism installed before any tracker that is not strictly necessary is set.

Merchant sites

Some articles link to merchant sites. These links carry no tracking identifier, and the product images shown here are served by this site itself. On another site, its own privacy policy takes over.

Exercising rights

Visitors have a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over data concerning them. Since this site collects no data that identifies a visitor, it holds in principle nothing concerning anyone; for any request, the host named in the legal notice can be contacted, and it will forward the request to the publisher.

If rights seem not to be respected, a complaint can be lodged with the CNIL: <https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes>.

Data outside the European Union

Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the site, may process data outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR, notably the standard contractual clauses.

The audience measurement counters are stored in a database located in the European Union. Each signal may be briefly processed by Cloudflare, Inc. outside the Union, on the server closest to the visitor; Cloudflare adheres to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, in addition to the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
